As per Hindu philosophy, there are three primal qualities of nature which make up the cosmic intelligence and determine our individual spiritual growth : Sattava, Rajas & Tamas.
Tamas is the quality of darkness, disorder, chaos and inertia. It is said to bring about ignorance and delusion in the mind and promotes insensitivity, sleep and loss of awareness. In contemporary culture we often tend to shy away from this quality and we tend to desire the other two which are commonly perceived and understood as 'positive'.
This collaboration between 'Rishta by Arjun Saluja' & humhu is an enquiry into that dark side by the means of fashion. What if we embrace it and indulge in it instead of fighting/fearing it?
